Olympia, London

Five months on from the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower the sector has had time to reflect and re-position their core focus moving forward.

Whilst delivering more new homes across all tenures is still a key agenda item, the focus on the quality of the homes our customers and tenants live in has been brought back to the fore. How as a sector can we best serve our customers?

The past few weeks have seen the removal of the LHA cap, £2bn in additional spend on social housing and a five year rent settlement of CPI+1% after 2020. But still there is a huge north/south divide and affordable homes are simply not that in many areas in the south. Whilst economic stability is still uncertain and affecting the wider housing policy in the north.

HOMES 2017 focuses on all of these issues and is a free event to all housing associations, local authorities, arm’s-length management organisations and developers. Related sessions include:

• How to balance efficiency with quality and satisfaction
• Treating the quality epidemic
• Fire Safety and the obligations in the housing sector
• Social value solutions to the industry challenge

Over 2000 people are already registered to attend on the 22 & 23 November.

If you haven’t already done so, register now for your free* two day visitor pass and enjoy access to the sectors largest free* learning programme featuring 100 speakers across five theatres.

The full seminar list can be found here.
