Strategy for Change 2: Annual Conference, 30th January 2013

The conference was Chaired by Rick Henderson, CEO for Homeless Link and was attended by around 50 delegates from local authorities and wider service providers from across the region.  A combination of excellent speakers provided the current androom changing picture of youth homelessness, the policy context the sector is working within and useful insights through research carried out by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.  In addition the conference also provided a platform to launch the updated Regional Youth Housing Strategy and Action Plan.  As well as informative presentations, delegates took part in activities aimed at identifying challenges facing homeless young people and the sector and possible opportunities and solutions.
