Aim
- Support individual member’s progression through group and individual work
- Offer high quality information, advice and guidance on appropriate services and support (internal and external) to members
- Develop personal skills and knowledge through experience in the role and completing training
Dimension
- Some support of volunteers may be required
Circumstances
- 35 hours per week
- This post is offered as part of the Crisis Trainee Scheme, available to anyone who has lived experience of homelessness and is a Crisis member or has accessed other homelessness services, within the last two years. Participants in the scheme will be offered a contract of employment with Crisis for 18 months
- Some evening and weekend work will be required and time off in lieu will be given in accordance with Crisis TOIL policy
- Some travel for training will be required
- Based in Newcastle with some outreach services
- The role involves working with vulnerable adults and young people and so a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required
Salary
- £17, 955 per annum (subject to annual pay increase)
